The "drippy sand" is so much fun. I never tried "pot pies." Very cool. I'll have to do that with my grandkids.Teri Heyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12734384917646492938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8565945884554720094.post-27696583567937086622012-10-01T21:17:09.614-05:002012-10-01T21:17:09.614-05:00I loved this post, Teri! Our favorite part was decorating with the "drippy sand" at the end, making all those wonderful spires! We also made what we called "pot pies," using sand molds and then decorating the pies with seashells, feathers and whatever we found while beachcombing. Those were happy days!Beverlyhttp://www.beverlyjcrawford.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8565945884554720094.post-59752996316493022722012-10-01T19:39:21.868-05:002012-10-01T19:39:21.868-05:00I know what you mean. My brother finally learned to help with the building.Teri Heyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12734384917646492938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8565945884554720094.post-22898646777956873162012-10-01T19:34:12.167-05:002012-10-01T19:34:12.167-05:00Jaja, thanks so much for sharing your childhood lo...Jaja, thanks so much for sharing your childhood love of building sandcastles.Teri Heyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12734384917646492938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8565945884554720094.post-68493387397838857162012-09-30T16:12:29.171-05:002012-09-30T16:12:29.171-05:00My cousins would sometimes break down my castles a...My cousins would sometimes break down my castles and run into the water to get me to chase them.
